I purchased the PROLIMATECH Megahalems Rev C (159 mm) Aluminum CPU Cooler from AVADirect Advantage, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Their team went out of their way to help me research several cooler models I was considering and even suggested this one as a strong match for my LGA 775 setup. The cooler arrived quickly, well‑packaged, and included a free fan. I installed the fan myself without any issues. The Megahalems performs exceptionally well and is built with solid quality. AVADirect Advantage provided great communication, helpful guidance, and reliable service. Absolutely deserving of a full five stars.
Ordered a new editing computer to replace the one I build 12 years ago. The website was easy to navigate and the selection of components was very good. I did have some questions on the latest hardware and Jimmy in sales was able to guide me through the ordering process with the best components that worked together. I appreciate it that they worked with me to time delivery around me travel schedule. The machine has been flawless and I got exactly what I wanted. All in all a good value.
This is the best custom PC building company period. If you simply spec and price out all the parts you're looking for then factor in AVA's expert advice, veteran PC building skills for peace of mind, superior packaging and customer service, it's an absolute no- brainer. I've been purchasing high end PC's from AVA since 2019 and I wish I had found them sooner. Very happy customer for life!
Outstanding customization & service.
We love the machine. Built for quiet and it is quiet! I really liked the customization process that let me know when I selected incompatible components. It was really nice to have your customer service reach out to us when there were issues during the build. Great Job and we'll be shopping there again!
Highly pleased with this beast of a system build. You guys are the best in the US! Thank you, AVA
I have ordered three custom built computers from here over the years. All my experiences have been good with expected quality builds. I will be shopping at AVADirect again in the future. If you like custom built rigs, then they should have you covered.
Great company, shipped fast! Just needed some RAM for my Steam Machine and they had the exact model to match the stick that I already had. Price was reasonable, all things considered during this RAM-pocalypse.
AVADirect provided excellent pre-sale support, support for some during build tweaks and I love my new system. The build quality was excellent. Packaging was also excellent and they have shipping alternatives to suit anyone.
Incredible quality builds. Great people. Great company.
My workstation is running solid with no issues. I had some technical considerations and questions but their team was able to respond quickly with the direction needed to accurately deliver my payload to me and the final stop, my web site visits. I will use them again.

AVADirect Custom Computers does it right. In less than four years, they custom-built another PC for me. When it arrived, the build was absolutely spot on. A very clean and well-arranged hardware. All the systems test reports are included and packed extremely well with clear instructions inside. Customer service was also spot on with the build. AVADirect Custom Computers has proven its exceptional PC building and customer service to me twice. What's not to say besides trusting them if you're looking for a new PC.
I was looking for a new gaming computer but was having trouble finding one that I could build custom with all the MSI components that I wanted. I found AVA when a friend told me that they were really solid, he wasn't wrong. They were super easy to deal with, at the price range I wanted, and worked with me on the sound card I wanted/needed for the audiophile in me. Thanks AVA Direct
Despite some delays from the manufacturer on some of the parts, something that was obviously quite outside AVA's control, the build of the system went flawlessly, and it has performed exactly as well as we expected it to. This was a rather large workstation build, with enough PCIe slots and power supplies to handle up to 8 power- hungry GPUs, and this it does perfectly.
Allowed a custom built computer just what I needed and the parts were compatible with each other and customer service was good and responsive to issues and questions.
This is by far the best gaming rig I have ever owned. I have always built my own... and I was intending on doing so again.
But I needed to be able to shop with credit since my budget was not in line with my computer plans.
I ended up landing here! I think the part picker portion of the build process was really awesome. Being able to select from a range of items. And having it reliably determine what is or isn't compatible was amazing. Overall I'm insanely pleased. It was a hefty price tag. But relatively it was just fine. I highly recommend shopping here!
This was my first time doing business with AVA Direct. They delivered an excellent (custom) product at a fair price. No detail was overlooked. Even the preparation and shipping were above and beyond. AVA Direct will be my first stop for my next PC.
i have had no problem and it was easy to install the two extra m.2 drives. i also love the service and the care taken to make sure it get to you in the best condition.
AVADirect finished my custom build in good time, throughout the process they were proactive in updating me on it's status. I'm highly satisfied with the end product as well. If you're shopping around for a PC builder, you won't find a better choice.
This is the third PC I've purchased from AVADirect and I have never been disappointed.
I purchased a motherboard from AVADirect but was concerned with the initial shipping time as I needed the item by a deadline. I contacted customer service and received a fast and reassuring response that the item had actually already been prepared for shipping and that I should expect it much earlier than the website initially predicted.
As promised, I received the motherboard very quickly and before my deadline. The item was carefully and securely packaged. I truly could not have had a better experience.
Thank you AVADirect!

Great product at a great price!
Del'Ray and his team did a spectacular job in bringing my Corsair AVA back to life.
Working with Joseph and Brandon has been great. The support they have given me was over and above expectations. Thank you both!
I got the product I wanted thanks to your website and the insight of Jimmy who helped me over some technical questions. I thought the price was fair, a good value. I was impressed with the ability to work delivery around my travel plans. If I have one thing that would have helped it would be documentation. I did get the installation docs, but since everything was installed, they were useless. Fortunately I was able to get owner docs from most manufacturer websites. I have already told others about this service. Thank you.
AVA-Direct has done it again! Jimmy Schuler was instrumental in the success of the build...
I wasn't looking to build a rocket ship. Being able to review and choose components that met my needs is crucial to me. AvaDirect's website allowed me to easily compare and pick the system and parts best suited for my applications. The ordering process was simple and straight forward. One of the nicest parts during the processing time was the progress indicators on my order. From un-boxing to first power up and on, I'm impressed with the build quality. So, here's the challenge...... My old system was a custom build as well. (Not from AVA) but it lasted me 18 years of daily use. Looking forward to this system surpasing that!
I was tempted to give everything 4 stars so I could give sales service 5. Jimmy Schuler did a great job and helped a lot. He asked what I was planning for the system and helped to clean up the config. He helped iron out a couple of issues during build. I'm very happy with what we ended up with. I've put my video card and dvd burner in and added my ssd from my old system and it's all working perfectly. And the case is great. I can't tell it's running. I was really happy to have found your site and the personal help just made it all the better. Thanks!
Avadirect support team has been very helpful and transparent during our interaction. I am grateful for the time and efforts put by the support team.
This is my second workstation from AVADirect, and I'm getting it because I was beyond happy with my first machine that has been running strong for almost daily for 10.5 years and the only reason I am replacing it is the age of the machine and newer software and OS are finally starting to have difficulty running or need more power than it can provide. I loved the machine and when I knew it was time to replace it the only thought I had was to come back to AVA and build another machine to last me a long time. Super pleased with everything that I've experienced with this group and highly recommend them for anyone's computer needs.
AVADirect delivered an excellent experience from start to finish. The customization options were extensive, the build quality is top tier, and the communication throughout the process made me feel confident and informed at every step. The detailed tracking updates were a standout feature and showed how much care goes into each build. I’m extremely happy with the final system and the professionalism of the entire team.
Thank you for the excellent pre-sale support as well as tweak help during the build process. I feel I got excellent service, tech advice and am enjoying my new system. 10/10! KAL
you guys are really a great company. Joe, thank you again for a great setup. Fantastic work you all. Chris
My order came within 2 days, the case was in pristine condition, which surprised me considering how old the product actually is. The price + shipping was absolutely fair. Overall good experience.
I actually absolutely love my custom labtop i use it almost daily . It's high performance makes it the one i reach for. It's light weight its fast my absolute favorite thing was exactly how fast the labtop was delivered to me despite being a custom order. The only thing I would like in the future is in the future maybe some designs on the labtop maybe some color options but outside of that im super satisfied.
The support I received from the Technical Sales staff was excellent. They were very helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and patient (I switched back and forth on some components). They worked with me to build the best future-proof system at an affordable price point, which was a very positive experience. The Build team did an excellent job with component installation, cable routing, component replacement (case fans), and packaging of accessories that were unused in the build. They also used expandable foam to stabilize components during shipping and everything was buttoned up in double-boxed, bubble-wrapped protection for shipping. Post-purchase communications informed me of shipping, tracking, and delivery info plus activation keys for the pre-loaded OS. The system booted perfectly. I worked in an IT organization for over 40 years and although it didn't involve PC support, I had experienced a number of cycles receiving both desktop & laptop systems along with peripherals that were "professionally " shipped. I can honestly state that AVADirect far out-performed all of those vendors in protecting the system they shipped. Everything was done to the highest professional level from Technical Sales to delivery. Thanks to all involved, Paul Bressi
When I had the idea to look for a barebones PC, I found you guys were one of the only people who'd do it, and I was pretty nervous because I had never purchased with AVADirect before. But, being candid, my expectations were completely blown out of the water. It was exactly what I was hoping would come so that I could transplant parts from my old PC, but without having to spend extra money, OR do any wiring from the PSU to the motherboard which I find a headache even if it's not horribly difficult. And I know it should be common practice, but thank you for sending a second box with all the unused cables and panels that came with my selected parts!
this is the second custom build i've gotten from AVA. both experiences were top-notch in all regards, but especially in the communication with the sales associates. they respond quickly, thoroughly, and helpfully to my numerous questions spread out across lots of emails. the custom laptop i ordered in 2021 and the custom tower i ordered this past march both exceeded my expectations. my only gripe about the experience- and i don't really feel like it's a valid one- is how overwhelming the build-your-computer process is on the website with waaaaay more options than my remedial brain could handle. AVA actually makes it as easy as it could possibly be done, so as i said- it's not a valid gripe. it's possible the new tower i just received last month will be the last i ever own in my lifetime, but if it's not then i'll be buying my next custom computer from AVA. 5-stars all around. i typically don't bother with requests to review products purchased online, but felt that AVA deserves that i take some time from my day to do so.
This was my first time buying from AVA and I was impressed. Also, when I needed to chat with a live agent, Jimmy was exceptional. He answered all my questions and even helped me with a couple of problems. I’d buy from AVA again almost based solely on my customer service experience.
Having bought my previous system from AVADirect I had no doubt that I wished to build and purchase my next system from you as well. I appreciate the desire to ensure my configured system has the features I would like and that all components will work together. I very much appreciate that my configured system is free from bloatware.
best custom computer builders in America!
will come back if i need another computer built because of the quality and costumer sevice
Thought your website and process were top notch.
Thank you, I'm not sure if you guys actually kissed it for good luck like I asked but so far I've had no problems with the fan. <3
My experience from initial website visit to build spec to working with Joseph Mundy on the technical specs and build process, to delivery was fantastic. Highly recommend your awesome company every chance I get. Thank you for your amazing service and attention to detail.
