The silver Silverstone fortress case is not only a very stylish chassis, but also holds hardware very well in the likes of wire-management and cooling. The Intel Coe i7 920 processor is a great way to create ultimate performance in any platform, and allow for rigorous multi-tasking applications and tasks. Throw in our over-clocking feature, along with a third-party cooler, you will have even more performance squeezed from the processor for you to take advantage of. In this case, the customer chose the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme heatsink, which is a very great idea for lower noise levels, and great over-clocking results. The ASUS P6T motherboard is very popular, due to price and features. It has many back panel ports, including up to eight USB ports, a single ESATA port, firewire, and dual-Ethernet ports with the option of “teaming”. Judging by the choice of the Quadro FX 1800 graphics card, which offers a great “price to performance” ratio, this end-user will be utilizing the system for graphics design, modeling, or any graphically intensive applications as he sees fit. Adding 6GB of Kingston RAM is perfect to keep the system well balanced, and ensure the least amount of bottlenecks possible. The customer has also chosen to use two separate drives; one for the operating system (300GB WD VelociRaptor) and the other for data (1TB WD Caviar Black).
