AVADirect had the pleasure of working with this customer extensively to help them determine what would best fit their needs in a custom computer. It was decided that processing power, by both the CPU and GPU, were most important since this computer would mainly be used for gaming. Based on the hardware listed, this system will provide some of the best performance for gaming. The top-of-the-line 2700K processor may not be necessary to meet this goal, but will help in the future should the customer need to upgrade the graphics card based on current demand. 8GB of RAM may also be slightly excessive, but it is better to prepare for the future rather than prepare for the present based on how quickly specifications can become outdated. The graphics card is the heart and soul of this machine, so whatever better card to choose than the GTX 580 DS. We prefer this model, over any other GTX 580 card, based on the fact that it’s factory superclocked and fitted with two fans for superior cooling. Additions, such as the 2TB hard disk and PCI sound card will make the experience more enjoyable and longer lasting.
