The Quad-core processor is plenty for most games out there, and the added Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 CPU cooler will help keep the CPU temperatures at the lowest possible. 8GB of RAM is now considered more of a modest amount for a gaming system, The 6970, however, is more on the high-end side, but definitely where the focus of a gaming computer should be. Although an SSD would have been great, a 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive will work wonderfully with this setup. It looks like the end-user plans to expand this system in the future, based on the Antec Eleven case choice and 850W power supply, which will support another 6970 in crossfire. This build is very solid, and will be very enjoyable for many years to come!
