UV Printing: Can You put this on my computer?

Owning a custom PC is a nice luxury to have and us here at AVADirect, when we get an order for a computer or a laptop, one thing that we always try to keep in mind is not only how well it performs but how good it looks. Most of the time that comes down to a bunch of small details to ensure the computer looks nice. Cable management is a large part of this and if our customer ever needs to open the system for any reason, it’s clean and neat inside.  For most people that’s usually as far as it goes, however here at AVADirect, we knew that we could do more.

We’re offering custom UV Print services to our customers and with this allows any single idea that you have, we can print anywhere on your case. If you want to have the bike from Akira speeding down the top of your computer case? We can do that, or maybe you want a beautiful landscape on the side for all to see? There are almost limitless possibilities.

We currently have several themes you can choose from, but none of these are limited to what you can choose. Have you ever wanted to have a logo from your favorite video game put onto the front of the case or, maybe there is a design that you made yourself that you think would look really cool on the glass side panel of your computer?  Maybe you are an enthusiast who wants to make an entire PC around a theme from one of your favorite anime, tv shows, games, or movies.  Is the answer to any of these is ‘yes’? Then we have a solution for you.

The process for this all is very simple; we ask that you send us a PDF file containing the design that you want to have printed onto your PC. Once we confirm how the design will look upon being applied, we then print it out. During this process we may encounter some errors like certain colors coming out a certain shade, but we always strive to deliver what our customer wants. And even then, we make sure to send a photo of the design to show how it looks and make any adjustments needed before finally approving it.

Currently we have two types of printing done: single panel printing and full case printing. Full case Printing is a longer process that takes much more time to do, this is because we break down the case of the computer panel by panel and apply the print to the parts needed to get the final product. In the case of the above example, we needed to remove both the side panels on the case, as well as disassemble the rear and front panels into their individual parts and print on those separately.

Single panel printing is much quicker and less labor-intensive to achieve, and what most customers typically choose. This print will typically go onto the glass side panel of a case, and some customers are very creative with the use of both the design they pick and the case

Now how do you get this? Well, that sort of depends on what you want? Do you just want to have a case featuring one of the prints we designed applied to it? It’s as easy as going to our UV Print Gallery and selecting one of the designs and what case you want it on. However, if those aren’t to your liking, you can head to our configurator and go to the Custom UV Print dropdown menu to select what type of print you want on your system.
